Dimanche dernier, sous un ciel maussade et bien gris (qui ne se prête pas vraiment aux photos), nous sommes allés voir le jardin de la Mardelle. Il est situé dans la vallée du Loir, à Artins (dans le vieux bourg), à proximité de la cité troglodytique de Trôo. On last Sunday, under a gloomy and gray sky (which was not favourable to the photos), we went to see the garden of La Mardelle. The latter is located in the Loir Valley, at Artins (in the old part of the town), near the town of Trôo.
Ce lieu n'est pas très connu. Les propriétaires du jardin l'ont aménagé pendant 30 ans. Au début des années 80, toute la propriété était en friches. Ce jardin est donc l'aboutissement d'un travail très important. This place is not well known. The garden owners have realized it over 30 years. At the beginning of 80', the entire property was a wasteland. This garden is the culmination of a very important work.
Il change d'aspect tous les 15 jours en fonction du calendrier de la floraison des arbres et arbustes qui le composent. Il comprend trois parties, dont l'une est consacrée aux essences du Chili. Des canards pataugent dans l'étang qui borde le jardin, vous aurez peut-être aussi la chance d'apercevoir un héron avec beaucoup de discrétion. It changes of aspect every 15 days depending on the timing of flowering of the trees and shrubs which are there. It is composed of three parts, one of which is devoted to the trees from Chile. Some ducks floundering in the lake bordering the garden, you may also, with some chances, see a heron with great discretion.
Le prix d'entrée est de 6€, 1h à 1h30 sont nécessaires pour parcourir l'ensemble du jardin. Il est ouvert de Pâques au 15 septembre (le reste de l'année sur rendez-vous). The entrance fee is at 6€, 1h/1h30 are needed to see the whole garden. It is open from Easter to September 15 (the rest of the year by appointment).
