Chançay

Ce samedi, j'ai fait une marche de 15km à l'est de Chançay (en moins de trois heures). Chançay est un village de 1000 habitants au coeur du Vouvrillon. L'origine du village remonte à la période gallo-romaine. L'église, non visible lors de ce parcours de randonnée pédestre, date de 1789 et a été aménagée dans une grande aux dîmes. Cependant, le début de la promenade permet d'admirer la paisible rivière de la Brenne. A noter la présence de deux lavoirs en vis-à-vis au bord d'un ruisseau à la sortie du village. This Saturday, I did a walk of 15km in the eastern of Chançay (in less than three hours of walk). Chançay is a village of 1000 inhabitants in the middle of Vouvrillon area. The origin of the village goes back to the Gallo-Roman period. The church, non visible during this walk, was built in 1789. However, the beginning of the walk makes it possible to admire the peaceful river of la Brenne. To note the presence of two laundrettes in opposite at the edge of a brook at the exit of the village.

Après 3 ou 4 kilomètres de marches, nous arrivons sur le coteau sur lequel les vignes abondent! Elles sont très bien entretenues et remplissent le paysage jusqu'à l'horizon. Nous sommes dans les vins d'appellation de Vouvray. After 3 or 4 kilometers of walk, we arrive on the slope on which the vines abound! Je quitte provisoirement les vignes pour progresser plutôt à travers des bois et des champs en faisant diverses rencontres, telle cette chèvre appartenant à un village de vacances et des vaches (toujours aussi curieuses). Je passe également à proximité de Montfort, un ancien manoir fortifié et ancien fief du 16ème siècle. I leave temporarily the vines to progress through the woods and fields by making various meetings, such this goat belonging to a holidays village and some cows (always also curious). I also pass near Montfort, an old manor and former stronghold of the 16th century.

Sur le chemin du retour, les vignes sont de nouveaux présentes, toujours très nombreuses. A la fin de la promenade, une vision lointaine du château de Valmer est possible. Ce dernier peut être visité pour y découvrir ses différents jardins. On the way of the return, the vines are again present, always so numerous. At the end of the walk, a small vision of the castle of Valmer is possible. This last can be visited to discover his various gardens.
