... à Chauvigny. Suite aux fortes précipitations de la semaine dernière, la rivière de la Vienne a été en crue ce week-end. Une crue progressive et assez longue. D'après le service des prévisions des crues du secteur, cette montée des eaux était d'ampleur bidécennale (qui survient environ tous les 5 ans ). De nombreux autres cours d'eau étaient en crue ce week-end dans l'ouest du pays.
Certaines maisons ont été inondées car situées à proximité du lit mineur de la rivière et donc en zone inondable... Théoriquement, toutes les communes doivent obligatoirement diffuser auprès des habitants une carte montrant les zones inondables afin de prévenir un maximum de dégâts (DICRIM - document d’information communal sur les risques majeurs), de même que les permis de construire doivent être délivrés en tenant compte de ces risques...
