The Chateau du Lude is not strictly speaking a chateau of the Loire (even if this article has this label) because it is situated in the Loir river Valley between the cities of Château-du-Loir and La Flèche in the Sarthe French Department.
Voici quelques photos prises lors d'une randonnée à Saint-Claude-de-Diray, un village situé à côté de l'agglomération de Blois, au bord de la Loire (environ 1500 habitants). Pour les personnes qui souhaitent se balader au bord du fleuve, c'est une randonnée idéale (tout comme les circuits de la commune voisine de Montlivault). Par contre, attention, évitez d'emmener vos enfants avec vous, de gros chiens type "berger allemand" avec des grognements menaçants divaguent sur le lieu "Les Marchais", à l'approche du village (voir carte du parcours).
